KUTA, BALI – To commemorate Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day, Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel is hosting Festival Satu Nusantara, a vibrant series of events celebrating unity, culture, wellness, and inspiration for the younger generation.
The program runs from August 14–17, 2025, bringing together communities, employees, and schoolchildren in a spirit of national pride.
The celebration kicks off Thursday (14/8) with HOPE: Let’s Inspire the Next Generation to Dream Big!, engaging students from SD Negeri 3 Kuta. On Friday (15/8), staff members join Together We Walk, Together We Thrive, a symbolic community walk promoting health, resilience, and togetherness.
The main Independence Day event unfolds Sunday (17/8), starting with a flag-raising ceremony in traditional Balinese attire, followed by fun-filled Independence Day games. The highlight, Parade Nusantara, will showcase Indonesia’s cultural diversity through traditional songs, costume parades, and a captivating Seka Gong performance.
Guests can also indulge in Rasa Nusantara, a culinary celebration featuring authentic Indonesian dishes with a special OFYR All-You-Can-Eat package for only IDR 275,000.
